A photographer told me that they had built a desecrating "pier" into the Badwater lakebed, ruining the view. I haven't been there in years. Was it there when you were last there?
Jeez . . . I guess that the last time I was in Death Valley was 2010?Death Valley Hills.Wow, 10 years ago! But that trip I didn't drive over to Badwater. In fact, I can't remember the last time I was there. Years and years. So I don't know about the view, alas.
