San Francisco writer Herb Caen once wrote, "I keep waiting for it to stalk down the hill and attack the Golden Gate Bridge." (Wikipedia)

Documenting her companion's bagel order. And actually using a real camera! Wow! I have to give her credit.
(BTW . . . yesterday's dachshund can be seen over by the light pole.)
Also, Shawna was quite taken with the fellow's jeans:

Nice looking animals seen on our morning walks. When I first saw the cat, I wished that I had a camera with a zoom lens with me . . . then I realized that in fact I had a camera with a zoom lens dangling around my neck. Photos taken with a Nikon Z5 and a 24-200mm zoom lens.

The surf was boiling and churning. Nice weather for a walk on the beach with your dog!
The 2012 Pismo Beach waves were more spectacular, however.

| Rain, Dog Walking (Fairfax) - Marin County 2022 |
Mike went for a morning walk during one of last December's downpours. Nobody else was out and about, except, of course, dogs and dog walkers. An iPhone 12 Pro photo.
The sound of raindrops hitting the pavement, the fresh smell of wet earth, and the feeling of cool droplets on the skin can all add to the sense of being alive. Dogs, too, seem to enjoy the experience, with their noses in the air, taking in all the new scents that the rain has brought out. The walk can also be a bonding experience, as the owner and the dog navigate the wet and often muddy terrain together.

Kind of ironic that Mr. ChatGPT can throw in a phrase like "the sense of being alive."
