I attended an Olive Fruit Fly seminar last month at McEvoy Ranch near Petaluma; driving back afterwards using the back road I was hit by a very intense downpour. For these two photos I pulled over to the side of the road, rolled the passenger side window down and took the photo using the telephoto zoom. I had to be quick about it: once the window was down the rain really started to accumulate inside the car.
