Photos were taken within a few minutes of another. These photos were taken with a Nikon Z7II, which at one point was Nikon's top-rated camera. (Now there's a Z8 and a Z9.)
I must say that the files do very well when converting the original color to black and white.

I could tell that this was taken in Idaho by the position of the negative on the contact sheet.
I can't be sure, but I might have been using an Olympus OM-1 SLR camera. (My original Nikon F was stolen in the late 1970s, alas.)

| Lake Don Pedro - Tuolumne County 2023 |
I wanted to spend a few days in the area around Bishop in the Owens Valley last October . . . hiking, taking pix etcetera. I followed the usual route on highway 120, stopping to take some photos here and there. Of course, one of the must-visit scenic views was the one of beautiful Lake Don Pedro. (Compare to 2015 photo.)

| Train, Horse - Nevada 2022 |
After traveling a few miles on the highway there was an offramp for a historic marker, having to do with the original indigenous inhabitants.
I got out the Nikon and took some photos of the train tracks and the mountains. I was immensely pleased to hear a train horn in the distance and soon enough a small train came into view. I didn't notice it at the time but there was a horse walking by himself on the dirt road adjacent to the tracks.
I think that's the Truckee River in amongst the trees at the base of the hills.
