Jagalchi

Jagalchi is a new large, high end store featuring (mainly) Korean food items, located in the Serramonte Shopping Center in Daly City.

We wanted to go so we could compare it to H Mart. Well, they're different. Jagalchi is more upscale and pristine, whereas H Mart seems to have a more gritty, authentic flavor. As you can probably guess, we prefer H Mart. Too bad it's so far away from us!

We stayed in a hotel in San Bruno overnight so that Hali could get an extremely early SFO flight. As a nice benefit we were able to have dinner at Mazra. Quite good!

Hali's flight back from Eugene was significantly delayed, so I was able to spend some time wandering around San Bruno - a small town adjacent to SFO.

Hali and I used a San Francisco housesitting event as an opportunity to drive down to Pacifica for a short hike in the hills there. (Mike had taken a 2011 hike in the same vicinity.)

Pacifica Hike

Shawna and Mike went for a dayhike in the hills east of Pacifica a few weeks ago. Low clouds hung over the eucalyptus. Some spring flowers could be seen.

Princeton

I met Wanda in Pacifica yesterday and we drove down to Princeton for lunch at the Half Moon Bay Brewing Company.

Oh, did I say Princeton? Sorry, I really meant Princeton-By-The-Sea.

We didn’t eat at Barbara’s . . . maybe next time. In the front, the sign says "Barbara’s Fishtrap," and on the side, "Barbara’s Seafood Parlor" as shown here.
