Shinji prepared our dinner over an interior charcoal BBQ pit! Tofu, fish, vegetables, sake and dessert.
(Side note: somehow the photos that I took of the Tanekura Inn's interior weren't that interesting. I need to work on my foreign correspondent skill set.)
Our futon beds were quite comfortable, plus it rained quite heavily during the night. Very relaxing sound.
