This fearsome looking creature is Sprint, short for Sprinter (as named by Hanna). Hali got him around the middle of last year, hearing that Bearded Dragons are easy to care for pets. Not exactly true . . . we've spent quite a bit of money on his habitat and his food (live dubias). Right now he's doing a lot of sleeping, which I guess is not that unusual.
For some reason he reminds me of the cunning velociraptors in Jurassic Park, so I'm never quite comfortable around him, especially when he swivels his head and stares directly at me.
