Field Museum - 2

Field Museum, Main Hall - Chicago  2017

Lakota Figure (Field Museum) - Chicago  2017

On display downstairs was "the largest, most extensive and best preserved Tyrannosaurus rex specimen ever found."

It's due to be moved, however: "The T-Rex will be placed on the second floor with a new exhibit dedicated to her. Filling her space in Stanley Field Hall will be a cast of a skeleton of a Patagotitan, the largest dinosaur ever discovered. Sue will be moved in February 2018 and will be gone for about a year while the new exhibit is prepared."  - Wikipedia

Lakota figure artist is Rhonda Holy Bear. "Holy Bear’s artwork consists of intricately carved and beaded Native American figures that depict life on the Plains in the nineteenth century."
