It was cold.
It was cold, overcast and foggy with drizzle when we arrived in Karuizawa. I was still feeling the effects of my cold, and wished I had brought an extra layer.
Also of interest: the view of the shinkansen from our hotel window and the loud station announcements easily heard in our room.
