Almost forgot . . . 2014 marks the 10-year anniversary of my first extensive use of a digital camera (a 4-megapixel Olympus C-4000Z). Here's one of my first photos, taken in May, 2004. It was somehow difficult for me to pinpoint that what gave those photos their unusual look was the absence of film grain.
