Two photos taken during a visit to Limantour Beach. This was last November, when I had rented a Nikon Z7II: I wanted to compare photos from it with my current Nikon Z5. I was using Nikon's 24-200mm zoom lens.
Top photo is a pretty severe crop. Also, I'm pretty sure that there are birds other than gulls in the group.

As has been mentioned before, there are those who say that one must visualize the image as black and white before the photo is taken. But I don't subscribe to that rule.

We ate an early dinner at the Wayfare Tavern on Sacramento Street. Weather was nice, the food was good. We shared one of their signature desserts: House-made doughnuts with streusel glaze, whipped crème fraiche and dipping sauce. Yum!

It turned out that our paid-in-advance parking spot was in the garage directly underneath the Bank of America building. Our dining group was making a foray into San Francisco for a outside dining experience at the Wayfair Tavern; while walking over to the restaurant I kept peering up at the structures overhead.
