Food trucks are becoming more and more common in the SOMA area. Actually, more common all over the Bay Area. Alas, the food being served is usually not all that great, certainly not any better than you could get at a medium-grade restaurant, with nice chairs that you could sit at and eat. Colorful, though.
Also noticed in 2011 in Los Angeles.
