I just recently found your blog, and I'm enjoying the pictures you're posting from the east coast. I'm not sure how to pronounce Pequotsepos either, but I've only lived here for 8 years now. Mystic is a favorite place of mine, especially Mystic Seaport. Thanks for posting.
Love these photos! The top photo is especially nice, love the composition with the stream leading your eye into the photo. The bottom photo looks about like it does here now. The colors are beginning to peak, not quite as nice as other years tho, since many of the leaves were battered during hurricane Irene.
Funny, looks like you have several followers from Connecticut!
I had run across your picture of the Argia here in Mystic. The boats around SE Connecticut have been a favorite topic of mine to shoot, especially those on display at Mystic Seaport. I'll have to go through my pictures and post some of the better ones.

Thanks, guys!
I may not know how to pronounce "Pequotsepos" but I surely do know how to pronounce "Connecticut."
Both photos taken with my old Olympus 8MP camera, which somehow produced a lot of my best-sellers. Huh.
Mystic boat pix here.

Pee-kwot-se-paas. ;-))
Thank you, Diane! Now I might be able to speak like a native here in CT! hehe.
