After a hard uphill grind of 2-3 hours Mike finally arrives at Woodchuck Lake.
Water! What a relief!
He fusses a bit, then selects a campsite within easy walking distance of the lake’s shoreline. He sets up his small one-man Big Agnes tent then proceeds to space out.

What a beautiful spot!
Stunning place, beautiful photo.
Thanks!
I glanced up from my campsite to see evening alpenglow hitting the far side of the lake. Grabbed my camera and went charging down to the shore, startling the fisherman there.
That top photo is especially gorgeous.
Hmmmm . . . a consensus is emerging. Maybe I should try printing it . . .
