As Mike was preparing to leave the valley, he realized, with a sigh, that he needed to take some bracketed photos for his ongoing experiments with HDR. Conditions were right: very bright clouds with much darker foreground.
Of course, the final result looks like a standard postcard view . . . true. But there's no blown highlights!

It's interesting how Photoshop handled the river . . . like a semi-"blurred water" effect.
