| Irises (Bodie) - Mono County 2006 |
The wild irises seen in the meadows were also blooming in Bodie. I don't know how common they are, maybe it's no big deal, but I was amazed to see these flowers in the high desert.
I noticed these irises in the shade just as the sun was approaching; I got off two shots, one horizontal and one vertical.

Yup. For some reason I've only shown the vertical shot in the booth.
