We were staying in the Tokyo area known as Shiodome (pron. Shee-oh-dough-may), actually, a quite modern business complex, with underground and overhead walkways.
We accessed Shinbashi Station via these vast underground passageways, sometimes crowded with commuters, sometimes not.
