Nice looking cat seen on the famous "Philosopher's Walk" in Kyoto, resting in a little cart by the side of the road.
OK. I tried to translate the sign. The top character is "honjitsu" meaning "today." Next, "yasumasete" might mean something along the lines of "having a holiday" or "resting." The last kanji has, alas, defeated me. Not only is it obviously complex, but also not quite readable.
Also and alas: no catchlights in the cat's eyes. Jeez.
