Azalea


We brought this azalea with us when we moved from Los Angeles to Marin in 1981. It had been in my parents’ back yard for a number of years before that.

Competitions? Nope, nor shows.

In fact, I've never gotten the hang of azalea bonsai pruning, so for most of the year it just mopes around in the backyard, waiting for Spring.

The blooms are so profuse due to SF fog...yes? Great moping.......the p

I think that azaleas and rhododendrons like Northern California, but in reality, profusion of blooms due to whoever bought it making a good pick.
