No trip to Boomtown would be complete without a short walk around Truckee. It seems as if the small dilapidated structures are slated for a development project.
I also went on a short hike along Sagehen Creek. Will post some photos at some point. Maybe.

In the tried and true tradition of small American towns slated for demolition, all these structures will have to be bulldozed to make way for 5 story condos. Then the franchisers will move in, and it will look more like Los Angeles than . . . well anywhere else.
Yes. Probably some "mixed-use" buildings. At least the high altitude atmosphere will remain.
