| Asilomar Station - Monterey County 2023 |
Sightems seen during a walk around our motel. I don't know if this was actually an official station. It was the last stop on an old rail line . . . passengers got off here and walked to the lodgings at Asilomar. Mike stayed at Asilomar in 1984 for a photography workshop that included a visit to Ansel Adams' house.
There was a nice-looking walking stick on the ground outside that got picked up and relocated to the inside of the "station."
