As a matter of fact, I think the last time I tried to visit the Oceano dunes might have been back in the early 80's. I had a 4x5 on an overcast day, so the results were pretty bland. Plus, it seemed as if that particular area was open to dune buggies, so the dunes had been pretty squished down.
