For some reason, I've never really walked around the mission grounds before. Everything has been reconstructed, of course. Photos taken with an iPhone 7 Plus.

It can be fun looking at period photos and seeing what changes may have been made.
Most of the "adobe" techniques have been replaced with structural beam etc.
Ranchos de Taos is an exception. They have to replace the surface periodically because it literally disintegrates in the rain.
Ha . . . I didn't know that. I visited there in 1993.
