The alleys in suburban LA are kind of unique.
Mostly paved, with rear garages facing inward.
Wide, sometimes as much as two lanes.
I remember noticing them with interest the first few times I went there.
Not sure where else this street layout form exists, but I associate it with SoCal.
I was intrigued by the alleys in Vancouver.
