I've photographed at the Marin County Civic Center. One of Wright's last projects. During his "outer space" phase. Buildings that looked like space-ships or sci-fi paperback fantasies.
At one place, you can actuallly access the blue roof. The roof is really the best part. Apparently, the big arched entrance isn't a pressure arc, it's just designed to look as if it is.
Yes, one of my favorite photo spots.
