Another photo taken during my earlier visit to Japan. I seem to remember standing on a wooden platform overlooking the famous moss-covered rocks of Ryoanji, with large numbers of (Japanese) tourists being ushered in, then ushered out. Very difficult to attain satori under such conditions.
At least it was for me.
