Monday Common Goldeneye Blogging


. . . Common Goldeneye duck, that is. "Their breeding ground is the taiga." How cool is that!

Spotted just behind Starbucks where it had come to join the gulls being fed by the homeless guy.

  1. Taiga: A Russian word that refers to the northern edge of the boreal coniferous forest, that “land of little sticks” which spans from the subarctic of Labrador to Alaska and beyond; from Siberia to Scandinavia.
